Transmetric Exhibits at NATMEC 2008

Transmetric was on display in Washington DC

Transmetric was an exhibitor at the North American Travel Monitoring Exposition and Conference (NATMEC 2008) in sunny Washington DC.
NATMEC provides the travel monitoring industry with a unique opportunity to meet with clients, potential clients and partners and Transmetric's booth in the exhibit hall saw a steady stream of people interested in finding out how they can improve their traffic data collection business.
The conference also provided an industry-wide snap shot of what's out there and what to expect from vendors, and in the software space there were some interesting outcomes:

• During vendor infomercials, Chaparral announced its intention to again rebuild its software from the ground up, this time as a web application
• Mid Western Software Solutions failed to arrive for their infomercial, leaving the audience guessing at what they were offering
• Northrop Grumman IT decided against exhibiting anything at all
• Transmetric presented a real time virtual weigh station software package, WIMShot, as well as a host of new features in the Transmetric Traffic server application.
