Transmetric Traffic Server has been selected by Texas DoT

Transmetric Traffic Server has been selected as the winning system for the Texas Department of Transportation's Statewide Analysis and Reporting System , also known as STARS II.
As the RFO states, The STARS system will automatically validate, analyze, forecast, map, and report traffic data for all public roadways in Texas , which includes short term and permanent volume, class and WIM data collected from the 80,000 miles of Texas DoT's managed road network.
The winning team of Fugro, Transmetric America and Alliance Transportation Group won a hard fought contest against offers based on solutions from Midwestern, Tradas, PTV and others.
