Virtual Weigh Station Solution

Transmetric® WIMShot™ is a low-cost, real-time image capture solution that transforms any connected WIM recording device into a virtual weigh station. A virtual weigh station utilizes weigh-in-motion (WIM) sensors and CCTV cameras as tools for weight restriction enforcement.
WIMShot™ can communicate directly with various WIM devices and is ideally suited to enforcement agency "pre-screening", either as a permanent upgrade for an existing weigh station or as a temporary device that can be easily setup and removed by mobile enforcement teams.
The WIMShot™ controller will manage images from multiple cameras, each with a distinct point of view. These images can then be uploaded into the Transmetric® Traffic database for later search and retrieval.
WIMShot™ also comes with real-time, pre-screening software which will trigger cameras based on user-defined enforcement rules, and manage the process of diverting trucks safely off the road.
A wide variety of camera types are supported - from extremely low cost USB cameras, to high speed night-vision systems - to suit almost any budget.
The software provides customizable extension points for a license plate recognition system, a message board, and connecting to a registration / licensing database.
